HISTORY

The Merchants of Venus is a 100% Australian owned and operated jewellery design and manufacturing wholesale import business, and was established in 1998 by Emma Wardle.

The proprieter/designer Emma Wardle has created this ever evolving unique jewellery range to inspire, delight and awaken humanities dreams and passions. Her background has included gem and mineral dealing, jewellery (Sales, design and production), Fine Arts and vibrational therapy.

Emma holds a Diploma and Certificate in Fine Arts from the National Art School, East Sydney. She is a professional exhibiting artist, photographer and designer with a deep passion and love for the mineral kingdom.

Emma has run a number of highly successful business ventures, which she has now put aside to exclusively concentrate on making The Merchants of Venus a culmination of all her experience and artistic expression.

Emma has been a gem and mineral dealer since the late 80's and has travelled extensively throughout Asia sourcing rare and exotic gemstones.

The Merchants of Venus jewellery is hand made in Sterling Silver and is not mass produced, preferring to focus on smaller boutique productions so as to ensure exclusivity and edge. Larger quantities can be produced upon special request. The option of custom design is also available for larger corporate clients, offering exclusive lines.

Manufacture and production is conducted in the tropical paradise of Bali, Indonesia. Recently we have also started producing a smaller more inexpensive range in India, so as to cater to the variety of clientele in the gift and jewellery industry.

The gemstones, minerals and other natural materials used in our productions are of the highest quality available and are sourced from all around the world.

The Merchants of Venus is dedicated to the positive evolution of humanity, towards liberation and self realisation. We are commited to assisting humanity through the process of transition upon the Earth, as we awaken to our true potential and divinity.

We practice tolerance, compassion, understanding, non-prejudice and universal spiritual beliefs. It is our hope that our jewellery will have a positive influence upon the world, spreading the mineral kingdom, high concepts of spirituality, symbolism and world mythology.

Many different faiths are honoured in the jewellery range, hoping that humanity will develop an evolved perception of our unity and source. Uniting humanity through love and raising the consciousness of the planet to a higher frequency of being and perception is certainly core to our goals.
